Day 3 - SAN JOSE / RIO SARAPIQUI RAFTING
ARENAL VOLCANO & TABACON HOT SPRINGS & SPA. Early morning our guide will pick you at your hotel. Leaving San Jose we drive to the valley of La Fortuna, traveling thru the windy roads of Costa Rica, we drive past several picturesque valleys before arriving at the bank of the Rio Sarapiqui. Our put in point will be welcomed as we prepare to load our gear into dry bags, hike down to the river and undergo a precise safety and paddle talk and then get wet.
The first run on the river is approximately 5 miles, it provides an amazing welcome to the gorge its rapids and its beauty. We'll stop for lunch and afterward continue our adventure. After finishing our rafting adventure, we continue our journey to the town of La Fortuna. Here you'll have a " once in the lifetime experience" to see the most active volcano in Costa Rica to view its spectacular eruptions of incandescent rock and molten lava. Arrival and check-in at your hotel.

Day 4 - LA FORTUNA
After breakfast, today enjoy a visit to either the BALDI or the TABACON Hot Spring and Spa, there is pools for swimming, with water deposit of under ground streams that fold down from the volcano with temperatures ranging from 80-100 degrees Fahrenheit, surrounded by beautiful gardens and waterfalls.
As darkness approaches, and from a safe distance you'll be able to observe the majestic Arenal Volcano, its spectacular display of thundering explosions, and orange-red lava streams glowing in the nights sky. Overnight.(B)
Day 5 - LA FORTUNA / SAN JOSE
After breakfast, you’ll be transferred by bus back to San Jose. Arrival and check-in at the Best Western Irazu hotel. Afternoon free for last minute souvenir shopping (B)
